opportunities & abilities
given by God!
He takes imperfect people & makes us a part of His perfect plan
we have loved ones who need Jesus & we must tell them
We share the Gospel & pray for, ect.
lost but don’t change...
WHY?
Sometimes they are unwilling to accept the Gospel message

but we must not give up & keep telling the world about Jesus

BUT what if it’s our fault?
Things that ruin our testimony
Being silent
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,
be ready —> eager to share of our hope!
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

Why is this so important?

Maybe our friends find the Gospel unbelievable b/c we don’t live like we believe

Some of God’s greatest men fell due to alcohol

sons found him naked & he was shamed
ended up cursing Cannan over it
Lot escaped Sodoms destruction w/ 2 daughters
daughters had incest w/ him while he was drunk
2 priests - Nadab & Abihu died b/c they went into Tabernacle after drinking strong drink
but our body is the temple of God
We have allowed our culture to create compromise in our faith
we must be alert but we are not w/ alcohol
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.
we can drink our testimony away
From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving.
We can talk our witness away too

it’ll not only destroy your witness
it’ll ruin your relationship with God
My worry is from what I see & Hear
some are trying to play God
worship with one breath
sinful living the next
Stand for something or you’ll fall for anything
I have seen people serving God at BCC
use vulgar languate on FB
share inappropriate videos & photos
slandering others - speading Gossip & lies
Im not saying that God expects perfection in this moment
but we have turned over to sin and are allowing it to have what we think is part of us
MY ADVISE: is unappologetically
that you’d better check yourself before you wreck yourself
4. We must clearly speak truth or the Gospel becomes something Jesus never intended
In a culture that accepts everyone as they are we must be bold
called to love all
and speak Bible truth
Just as Jesus did we should love sinners
and lead them to the truth
let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.
I love homosexuals
& hope to show them how to turn from their sin rather than embrace it
I have had many people who I have ministered to in prison sharing the love of Christ w/ them
intentionally showing a new way of life in Jesus
I’ve sat dow with those sleeping around
drug abusers
crude & rude people
showing them the love of God and the truth of their sin
why b/c the only thing worse than no hope is false hope
they need Jesus & they need to repent
I will not send false hope and make them think that their sin is okay
WHAT IS KILLING YOUR WITNESS?
silent
not unduring faith
sin
accepting sin
